Cycle rides are arranged for most Wednesdays and cover a variety of routes. We cycle for enjoyment rather than speed, as far as possible using quiet roads and cycle paths, with a stop for refreshments during the ride.
The distance cycled varies, usually between 12 - 20 miles. Where there is a 5th Wednesday in the month we plan to organise a shorter ride to suit less experienced cyclists. We also have occasional trips away.
Details of each ride are sent ou by email a few days in advance, giving meeting arrangements, mileage, terrain, and coffee stop.
